Every year, LVEJO fields a team of runners in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon who dedicate their 26.2 miles to raising funds for environmental justice work in Little Village. Team LVEJO runners get access to a community of support including workshops, monthly team runs, volunteer opportunities, and more.
2026 Team
Team LVEJO is currently in training for the October race. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support LVEJO’s work in water, air, land, energy, and food sovereignty in Little Village.
You can still support the team by donating to the Team LVEJO 2026 Fundraising Page. We couldn’t be more thankful for all the love and support shared for our team and organization!
Fundraising efforts will go a long way to support…
- Advancing environmental justice policies at the local and state levels!
- Growing organic produce at La Villita Farm and Semillas de Justicia Community Garden for distribution to Little Village families and mutual aid programs,
- Generating resources to address urban flooding and water justice issues in Chicago,
