Organizing Communities Across Boundaries:
An Organizing Teach-in
sponsored by the Midwest Social Forum
LVEJO Organizers, members and youth attended the Midwest Social Forum Teach- In on March 28 – 30 in Salem, Wisconsin. LVEJO was honored to host both a workshop and caucus on Environmental Justice. Members and youth also participated in panels on organizing across intergeneration and in the closing ceremony. Thursday, May 1st at the March
LVEJO organizers, members, volunteers and youth came out to join in the 2008 May Day March for Immigration Reform. Over 20 participants traveled on public transit with LVEJO to march in this annually historic event.
