LVEJO Student Internships Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
- Do I get paid for this internship?
Yes. You will receive a small stipend of $1,000 for your time. Potential student interns must account for the fact that environmental justice organizations such as LVEJO are severely under-resourced and prioritize community organizing. Please consult your university or academic institution for possible list of scholarships and resources.
- Do I get credit for my internship hours?
Please contact your school administrator for details regarding the potential of getting your internship hours be credited.
- I have other ideas besides the internship opportunities listed above, can I contact you?
No. LVEJO is under-resourced and has very limited staff capacity. The organization would not be able to take on another potential project at this time besides the ones listed. LVEJO would have to take a rain check at this time for other intern opportunities you might want to pitch.
- I need an internship ASAP. Can you help me?
